What is VOC? VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds, these are organic products that when released in the atmosphere cause damage to the ozone layer, by weakening this protective layer, harmful rays are allowed to pass through and impact our fragile eco system. VOC free does not mean solvent free or odor free, many times people assume that a low VOC or VOC free sealer is not solvent based or has no odor but it may not be so, if a product is made with a solvent it will haev a strong odor and fumes. Decosup Inc. manufactures solvent base and water base low VOC and VOC free sealers for decorative concrete and masonry in general. As VOC regulations for concrete sealers get tougher and tougher, and with states like California and New York operating under even stringent VOC regulations than the federal standard, it has become a necessity to find new alternatives. Water base sealers are a popular choice as replacement for solvent base sealers, but the performance is not quite there yet. Solvent base products still greatly outperform water base ones, especially in the decorative concrete industry. That’s why we took the initiative to invest time and resources to develop new solvent base concrete sealers that would meet all VOC regulations nationwide. We at Decosup are proud to introduce our new line of VOC compliant dealers, which are made with the same technology and resin than our regular sealers but with different solvent blends and solids contents that allow us to meet all the Federal and State levels. Clear VOC: Made with the same premium 100 % Acrylic Methacrylate
resins as HardBright Clear, this VOC free concrete sealer provides
a hard and glossy protective coat over all surfaces including stamped
concrete, overlays and acid stained floors. HardBright Clear VOC
provides the same depth, color enhancing and wet look as our regular
solvent base sealers. This is a 100% VOC free concrete sealer.
DecoShine
Polyaspartic Polyurea: This
premium sealer is a two component polyaspartic polyurea that provides
a super hard finish, high gloss and excellent chemical resistance.
Recommended for commercial applications where a very tough and durable
