Well, what can I say, I was thoroughly impressed by the Artistry in Concrete at this year's WOC. I don't know if it's just me but I thought in this edition the work was up a notch, it was superb and highly creative. It was hard not to escape each day from my daily booth duties to check out the progress of these masterpieces in concrete. Since I bleed Decorative Concrete I truly enjoyed and appreciated the effort and talent of all these guys.
I cannot go any further without acknowledging Joe Nasvik, the man in charge of organizing and running the Artistry in Concrete. I saw Joe there everyday working hard to make sure things ran smoothly and the artists had all they needed, he built tables onsite, carried materials all over and was available at all times. I can categorically state that he really went far and beyond in his effort to make the Artistry in Concrete a giant success and got it done.
